Final Paper Submission Instructions [Main Conference]

Guidelines for Final Paper Submission for Technical Papers in the Main Conference ONLY

Final Paper Submission to IEEE INFOCOM 2022

Final versions of accepted papers must be uploaded to EDAS for inclusion in the conference proceedings and to be submitted to IEEE Xplore®. The deadline is 11:59pm US ET, Friday, 14 January 2022.

IEEE/IEEE Communications Society/IEEE INFOCOM Policies

To ensure appropriate consideration of conflicts of interest during the review process, the ComSoc prohibits changes to the list of authors once a paper has been submitted for review during review, revision, or (if accepted) final publication. The author list may be changed only prior to the submission deadline.

To be published in the IEEE INFOCOM 2022 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full (member or non-member) rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper.  For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for up to 3 main conference papers.  Accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore®.

Revise your Paper

Please read the reviews of your paper and follow the reviewers' recommendations for revising it and preparing the final version. When you are done with the revision, please print out your paper and carefully proofread it. Review formatting requirements can be found at:

https://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html

Papers with code or data

This year, as a starting point, INFOCOM 2022 encourages authors of accepted papers to share the related code and/or data as a service to the research community. Note that we will only verify the fact that the code or data have been made available, but not their functionality or content. If you choose to share your code and/or data, please add the following sentence to the end of the Conclusion section in your final manuscript:

"The authors have provided public access to their code and/or data at [the publicly accessible link to the repository]."

You are suggested to use CodeOcean (instructions can be found at here) or GitHub packages archived by Zenodo (instructions can be found at here) to archive and share your code or data.

IEEE PDF eXpress

Use IEEE PDF eXpress to check if your paper is Xplore compatible.

PDF eXpress instructions: The PDF eXpress website can be found at https://ieee-pdf-express.org/. The conference ID for INFOCOM 2022 is 48880X.

Register for the Conference

Each accepted paper must be accompanied with a full conference registration fee (member or non-member). For authors of multiple papers, one full registration can cover up to three papers of the registrant in the same category (e.g., three main conference papers, or three workshop papers). Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE INFOCOM 2022 conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore.

For conference registration, please go to the Registration page of the IEEE INFOCOM 2022 website http://infocom2022.ieee-infocom.org/registration and follow the instructions.   After completing your registration, you will receive an email with your registration confirmation number.  Write this number down. When uploading your paper to EDAS, you need to enter the registration code = "INF" + confirmation number.

Submit your Paper

Your final paper must be submitted no later than 11:59pm US ET, Friday, 14 January 2022 in order to be included in the conference proceedings. The maximum number of pages is ten (10). Main text (including figures, tables, appendices, and any material other than references) must be no more than 9 pages.

To submit your final paper, please go to EDAS, click on the “My Papers” button, and then upload your paper on the link provided. DO NOT go to Papers/Submit paper, since you will not find IEEE INFOCOM 2022 there. The author list in the PDF file should exactly conform with that in EDAS; otherwise, the paper will be removed from the program. If you experience any problems during the upload process of your paper on EDAS, please contact help@edas-help.com.

IEEE Copyright Form

Before you upload your camera-ready paper, you will need to submit your IEEE copyright form using the IEEE electronic copyright mechanism. Please follow the link provided on the paper submission page.

Policies on no-shows and substitute presenters

INFOCOM 2022 will be held online from May 2 to May 5. We will send you more information about the online conference details shortly. At least one author of each accepted paper is required to answer questions online following playback of the recorded video presentation, and this person should register to the conference. We encourage all authors to attend if possible.
